  1. Ray Students finding their rhythm!

    • Our students have done a great job the last two weeks learning the building, developing routines, setting organizational habits, and becoming acclimated to middle school learning!  Please utilize Google Classroom and SchoolTool to monitor your student’s progress and as a conversation starter to discuss their learning experiences at home.

  2. Spotlighting Ray Students:

    • In an effort to highlight Ray students showcasing talent and personality in a variety of ways, we are collecting voluntary submissions from families via this link.  Images will run on digital boards throughout the school.  We will also be including images of students participating in after-school clubs, student artwork, and students demonstrating our Positivity Project strength of the week.

  4. After School Clubs & Activities:

    • After school clubs and activities will be starting officially on Tuesday, 10/8.  Please see this link on the Ray webpage for a listing of all activities and details.  As a reminder, parent pickup is at 3:15 PM in the side parking lot, and the late bus leaves Ray at 3:30 PM.  

  5. School Pictures: 9/26-27

    • Ray students will get their school pictures taken in PE classes next Thursday and Friday (9/26-27).  Picture retakes will be announced at a later date.  See this link for more information.

  6. Ray PTA: Fundraiser & Meetings

    • The Ray PTA will once again be hosting a Fun Run for all students on October 17th and 18th during PE classes.  Packets will be sent home with students on Friday, September 20th with more details.  

    • Please consider joining the Ray Parent Teacher Association.  Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, 9/25 at 6:00 PM in the Ray Library.  The PTA is excited to support students and staff this year with exciting events and opportunities!

  7. Calendar Reminders:

    • There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 3rd (Supt. Conference Day) and Monday, October 14th (Columbus Day & Indigenous Peoples’ Day).
